FAQs

Q?

Can I be involved in the investigation?

A.

All investigations are different and although we will require information from the clients at the start, unless there are exceptional circumstances, clients are not directly involved in our operations. We have clear channels and open means of communication during an investigation but the nitty gritty of an investigation is best left to the professionals.

Q?

How do I contact Tacet?

A.

New customers can call our landline and speak to one of our receptionists or if the line is busy or you’re calling out of office hours, you can leave a message and let us know an appropriate time to call you back and we will get in touch.

Alternatively customers can email our office and again let us know the best time and means to contact you.

All calls and correspondence are treated with 100% confidentiality.

Q?

What are the costs?

A.

The costs of our work and investigations can vary from case to case. However our prices are the best value prices in the UK and no work is started unless we have full permission from our client and fees have been agreed beforehand. There are no hidden costs and all fees are fully transparent and communicated prior to the commencement of any work.

Q?

Is it legal?

A.

Whilst we can’t speak for other investigation agencies, Tacet operates completely within UK law. At no time will we take part in any undertakings that are illegal or could in anyway compromise the agency itself, our agents or our customers.

As with all of our services, full transparency of the work we will do will take place before the commencement of any work and only once we have the permission to start the work from the client.

Q?

Can I meet someone from Tacet in person?

A.

The very nature of the work we do is of course sensitive and therefore discretion is key for both the company, its agents and of course our clients.

That said, in most circumstances we are happy to meet new customers to discuss their problems face to face at the outset.

Q?

How do I pay for the work?

A.

We take payment by bank transfer. We prefer not to take payment by cash but receipts of payment will be provided if a customer wants to pay in cash.
